Dear Viewer,
On Tuesday December 8th, our lives were once again significantly changed with the stronger public health measures that were put into place in Alberta. If you have not seen or heard what these new measures are here is a link to all of the changes that are taking place.
https://www.alberta.ca/enhanced-public-health-measures.aspx
With these new changes our offices remain closed to the public and we are open by appointment only. For this reason, if you need to come into the office we have implemented a new online booking system to book a time to come in use this link to schedule an appointment:

If it is urgent, then please contact the office directly at (403) 455-3062.
As we have restricted office hours and the office will be closed during the holidays, please ensure that you book far enough in advance (at least 24 hours) so that we can ensure someone will be here for you.
If you need to send us any documents, please use out portal link to upload them if possible. For your reference the link is as follows:
LGS Portal Link – you may need to right click and open the hyperlink
or copy the hyperlink into the internet address bar
Now for the good stuff…..
With these new stricter restrictions the government of Alberta has announced an expansion to the Alberta Relaunch Grant, this grant was originally for $5,000 and was available to anyone who incurred a decrease in revenue of more than 40%. That program has now been expanded up to $20,000 and the revenue loss requirement has been changed to 30%. More information on this program can be found at:
https://www.alberta.ca/sme-relaunch-grant.aspx
In order to apply for this grant you will need to have a My Alberta Digital ID (MADI). If you do not have a MADI, then you will need to apply for one and it takes up to 10 days for your account to be verified so please do not delay if you would like to submit an application for this grant.
With all of these programs, grants and government funding it is hard to keep track of it all. The Calgary Chamber of Commerce has been kind enough to create a business resource page that summarizes everything that is available to you. I have included a link below for your easy reference.

Both myself and my staff appreciate all of your support, patience and cooperation during this holiday season and unique globe challenge.
Take care and stay safe.
